Student Quantitative Analyst
Responsibilities
Your role encompasses a range of dynamic responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Developing algorithmic trading strategies, risk management tools, and dynamic valuation models.
- Developing quantitative analyses that draw from both your intuition and insights from key stakeholders.
- Ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of performance metrics.
- Actively pursuing knowledge to elevate the entire team’s forecasting capabilities.
- Engaging in various ad-hoc tasks, including occasional business cases.
- Contributing approximately 15-25 hours weekly to these endeavors.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess:
- Currently studying a Bachelor’s (in 6th semester or later) or a Master’s in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative field
- Proficiency in Python although experience in other languages (R, SQL, C#, VBA, etc. ) is a plus
- Have strong mathematics and statistical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-energy, time sensitive team environment.
- Curious mindset and interest in financial markets and data analysis
- Experience with machine learning or predictive modelling is a plus
