Quantitative Analyst

Your primary focus is to develop algorithmic trading strategies and help traders by structuring and gathering an extensive amount of data that can be used for solid decision-making in the everchanging power market.



A Master or PhD in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields



Proficiency in Python although experience in other languages (R, SQL, C#, VBA, etc. ) is a plus



Experience with machine learning or predictive modelling is a plus

Power Trader

We are always looking to hire a talented and ambitious Short-Term Power Trader for our intraday department.

As part of our team, you will be given responsibility from the get go, perfecting various analytical models as well as making your own decisions regarding trading.



Educational background in either Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar



Strong programming skills and profound experience in Excel



Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Software Developer – Fullstack

Your role will consist of building internal systems for other departments in the company – trading, compliance, analytics – and it will consist of the whole development cycle, from designing systems all the way to running and monitoring them in production.



Relevant educational background



Experience with a JVM language – Java/Scala/Kotlin – but could be other languages as well



Experience with a cloud provider – Azure, AWS, etc.

Student Quantitative Analyst

As a student quantitative analyst with BD Energy, your primary focus is to develop algorithmic trading strategies and help traders by structuring and gathering an extensive amount of data that can be used for solid decision-making in the everchanging power market. Other roles include developing and implementing risk management and forecasting models.



Currently studying a Bachelor's (in 6th semester or later) or a Master's in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or other quantitative field



Proficiency in Python although experience in other languages (R, SQL, C#, VBA, etc. ) is a plus



Curious mindset and interest in financial markets and data analysis
