Protecting your personal data is our priority, and we have therefore prepared this privacy policy. 

BD Energy A/S are required to provide you with a set of information when we process data about you, this is in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  

As the data controller, BD Energy A/S must provide you with information about the processing of your personal data in a transparent, concise, easy-to-understand, and easily accessible manner. 

You have the right to be informed about the processing of personal data at the moment your personal data is collected, which is the purpose of this privacy policy.

As mentioned above BD Energy is the data controller for the processing of the personal data we have received about you. As data controller we have the responsibility for ensuring that the processing of your personal data complies with GDPR.

Our processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation on personal data.  

Personal data refers to any information about an identified or identifiable person. This means any type of information that can be directly or indirectly linked to an individual. 

BD Energy A/S is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as the processing of personal data is not the company’s core activity. Furthermore, we do not process personal data on a large scale. Lastly, our processing of personal data does not consist of regular and systematic monitoring of individuals. In addition, the processing does not involve sensitive personal data or data relating to criminal offences. 

 

 

2. The purposes and legal basis for processing your personal data

Through these channels, we will process your personal data in order to respond to your request. We only process the information you provide to us during our communication. 

When contacting us through our contact form we only ask you to provide us with your name and email. Therefore, we only process these types of personal data.  

When contacting us through email or telephone will we processed the personal data, that you provide us with yourself. Typically, that will be name, email, telephone and position.  

We have assessed that it is within the legitimate interest of BD Energy A/S to process your personal data, cf. (EU)2016/679 Article 6(1)(f).  

When contacting us through our website, email or telephone, our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest. It is a legitimate interest to be able to answer inquiries sent to us.  

Your personal data will be stored for as long as our dialogue is ongoing.
